There have been a number of Bollywood celebrities who have become happy parents this year. While Kareena-Saif’s son Taimur, and Shahid-Mira’s daughter Misha have been the most adorable babies of B-Town, there have been celebs like Tusshar Kapoor and Karan Johar who have taken the path of surrogacy to have their kids. Be it married couples like Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan (AbRam Khan), Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao (Azad Rao Khan), or single fathers Tusshar Kapoor (Laksshya Kapoor), Karan Johar (Roohi Johar, Yash Johar) have taken the path of surrogacy.
Why are we talking about that? How is this information connected to Salman Khan’s becoming a father you ask?
Well, the news is that Salman Khan is actually planning to have a baby, but does not want the complications of having a mother with the baby. Salman will turn 57 in December but is not ready to get married as he feels that he is not a marriage material.
But we’ve certainly seen him having a good time with his niece Ahil. This proves that he can be a good dad. And so he wants to be. His chemistry with Ahil proves him to be a good maamu and hints that he is all set to embrace fatherhood through surrogacy.
Salman plans to have a baby in the next two years, reports a leading daily. He said, “I do want to have a child, but with child, the mother comes. And when the mother comes, big complications happen as I am not the husband material. I am the father type. It will be unfair for anyone to think that I will change him. I will not change. I sometimes feel surrogate type ka ho jaye, but then look how close we are to our mothers so when the kid grows up he or she will ask maa kaun? They will then think that my father for his own selfish reasons has kept us without a mother. And then my parents too would like to see my children. So it’s all very complex.”
The actor also admitted that having a child now would mean that when his child will turn 20, he would be 70. But he also wants to fulfill his parent’s wish to see him as a father.
Let’s wait to see Salman getting his own child to fulfill his parents’ wish by surrogacy. Fingers crossed till then.
